Come Visit

You are always welcome at Terramar and we urge all interested people to make arrangements for a visit.

There are several options available:

1.) Fly into Managua:

From The US the best way to fly to Managua is through one of five international air carriers. Continental Airlines has daily flights  from Houston and American Airlines has daily flights from Miami. Both are approximately 2 1/2 hours flight time. Other U.S. cities are serviced by TACA, Europe by Iberia, and South and Central America by Copa.

After landing in Managua, Terramar is a two-and-a-half hour drive south along the Pan American Highway. Rental cars are available from several international agencies in Managua at the airport gateway but it is probably better if we arrange your transport from the airport to the ranch.

Effective Janurary, 1 2006, Delta now flies daily nonstop to Managua from Atlanta.

2. Fly to Liberia, Costa Rica on Delta and then to Granada Nicaragua on Nature Air..

Delta Airlines now flys directly into Liberia, Costa Rica from several US cities. From Liberia, Nature Air flys into Granada, Nicaragua ( 30 minute flight).  From Granada, rental cars are availble, or preferably, we can pick you up and host your tour of the ranch. RPV is approximately a 90 minute drive from Granada.

3. Fly to San Jose or Liberia, Costa Rica,  then drive to the Nicaraguan border.

Terramar can also be reached from the Costa Rican border by car in approximately ninety minutes. Rental cars are available from several international agencies in Liberia at the airport gateway but it is probably better if we arrange your transport from the airport to the ranch.

Flying to Nicaragua is going to be a lot cheaper, better, and easier thanks to a new airport in Granada, and direct routes from Miami and San Jose, Costa Rica offered by Nature Air.

Nature Air is offering flights from Miami to Granada for $343 (or $220 from San Jose).
